Western Piedmont Community College students and faculty hit the pine at Heritage Middle School to raise awareness and funds for Camp Dragonfly, our annual youth grief camp. Tickets are $2.

Ongoing - Our thrift store, Burke Hospice Thrifts & Gifts, is bursting with bargains in downtown Valdese! (148 Main Street East, Valdese - formerly the Major Electric building.) Hospices across the US have found thrift stores to be an excellent way to supplement their income. We hope the funds raised at Burke Hospice Thrifts & Gifts will help us serve more people in our community who are unable to pay for their own health care. The need is great -- since 2006, we have provided over $2 million in care with no reimbursement.
Stop by and visit our new store Tuesday through Friday, 10 AM-5 PM, or Saturday 8 AM-2 PM. We look forward to seeing you!
