Burke Hospice & Palliative Care is proud to employ doctors, nurses, social workers, nursing assistants, chaplains, counselors, and administrative staff who are highly skilled and trained in their professions. Many have specialized certifications in end-of-life issues, including those from the End-of-Life Nurse Education Consortium (ELNEC) and certification review courses. All have the compassion and drive to provide superior end-of-life care.

This special class offers insight into the differences between Hospice and Palliative Care, helping you to make the best, most informed decisions for yourself and your loved ones.

 

Professional Education

Burke Hospice & Palliative Care workshops are available to health care professionals relative to the medical, spiritual, social, and emotional issues people experience with serious illnesses.

A Community Resource

Burke Hospice & Palliative Care staff members are the experts on living with a chronic or terminal illness, caregiving skills, Advance Directives, and hospice and palliative care. Staff members are available to speak to medical, community and church groups on a wide variety of topics.
